Shopping can be overwhelming when you’re autistic but a toy shop in Bristol is trying to take the anxiety away for parents and children with their ‘A-board’ outside to show it can be a safe space.

The board details what the shop can do to help with sensory overload and make shoppers feel comfortable. Shop worker Romilly, who is autistic, says she wishes places like this had been around 17 years ago when she was a child.
